Dr. Vreeman and colleagues Jim Eng, PT and Janet Herbold, MA, PT will present a session titled "Using Information Technology to Develop and Implement Evidence Based Practice" at CSM 2007

Daniel J. Vreeman, PT, DPT, Jim Eng, PT, and Janet Herbold, MA, PT will present a session about health information technology and evidence-based practice.

In this session, we will present strategies on how to identify clinical trends and support EBP using information technology. We will discuss the forces in our current practice environment that are driving adoption of information technology, the role of clinical performance improvement in enhancing clinical practice, and the evidence for computerized tools that help clinicians implement best practices by "making it easy to do it right".


The session will take place on Friday, Feb 16, 2006. 8:30-11:00AM.
